A two storey proposed data centre for a private client has been refused by Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole (BCP) Planning.
L2 Energy Consulting were subsequently appointed to produce an Energy Statement to satisfy local planning policy PP37: Building sustainable homes and businesses.
The report highlighted the clients desire to go beyond PP37 requirements and provide a building which would perform 30% better than requirements of current building regulations under Part L2A and providing in excess of 20% of regulated energy use by renewable technologies.
